I am Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, holding a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Purdue University, with more than 20 years of professional experience. My career began in a hospital setting, where I gained valuable clinical involvement, much of it at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

My passion for gastrointestinal health began when several family members were diagnosed with celiac disease. In 2008, my family moved from Maryland to Indiana, and not long after, I began experiencing my own health challenges. By 2015, I was diagnosed by a functional medicine doctor with mold illness and Lyme disease. This opened my eyes to the functional side of medicine- something new to me at the time, but for which I'm incredibly grateful.

Recovering from mold illness and Lyme taught me the importance of looking beyond the standard approach-listening closely, asking thoughtful questions, and approaching each client with genuine empathy.    

In addition to my focus on gastrointestinal health, I also enjoy supporting clients with other nutrition concerns that extend beyond digestive health.
